Revised dates for excluding benefits from the minimum wage
The Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy is delaying the implementation of regulations excluding benefits from the minimum wage.
In comparison to the original schedule, the bill proposes postponing the deadlines: exclusion of functional benefits - from 1 January 2026 to 1 January 2027, other benefits - from 2027 to 2028, and bonuses and awards - from 2028 to 2029. The reason for the changes is the cost to the public sector. The vacatio legis of the provision on automatic calculation of interest for late payments has also been extended to six months from the date of entry into force of the bill.
