Proposal to increase allowances and limits on accommodation for business trips
The Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy has submitted a draft regulation for consultation that would increase domestic allowances from PLN 45 to PLN 60 per day for business travel. The change affects not only the amount of the allowances , but also related benefits – lump sums and accommodation limits, the amount of which is linked to the allowance rate.
The draft also provides for an increase in allowances and accommodation for foreign travel. For example, for trips to:
- the United Kingdom – from GBP 45 to GBP 50,
- the Czech Republic –from EUR 41 to EUR 45,
- Belgium –from EUR 200 to EUR 250.
In some cases, the currency in which the allowance is determined has also been changed (e.g. for trips to Australia, Denmark or Norway, the allowance will be determined in USD or EUR).
Regulation (No. 90) was submitted on 23 January 2026. for inter-ministerial and public consultation The change of rates are to apply 14 days after the regulation is published in the Journal of Laws.
