New regulations on workplace bullying have now come into force

On Thursday, 5 November, an amendment to the Labour Code came into force, changing the regulations on workplace bullying.

Key changes include simplifying the definition of workplace bullying, increasing the minimum compensation for such bullying to six times the minimum wage, and imposing broader preventative obligations on employers. You can find more information about the Act on our website.

Employers with at least ten employees have until 5 May 2027 to bring their existing internal regulations (work regulations and collective agreements) into line with the new provisions, or to issue separate anti-bullying regulations.
